Do I need kitchen design as a precondition of the kitchen remodel?

Would you mind if I used an analogy? Kitchens are similar to cars! They are similar because in you spend time with family, you work, and you entertain. There is a similar pride of ownership. They are a similar investment of funds. Would you question the need for design in a car? What are the ingredients I should look for in kitchen design?

As kitchen designers we believe successful design is a blend of aesthetics, function, and budget. There is really no other room in the house, except perhaps the bathrooms, where these three dynamics have such an impact. Our designers strive for a result that is both beautiful and satisfying to the senses. Easy to cook and prepare meals in. As well as, the other functions, many of us feel are important today, such as, entertaining, family concentric activities, and the management and communication needs of the home. We strive to achieve all of this within your budget.

How can you help me with my kitchen design & kitchen remodel?

We have organized our new 4,000 square foot design showroom at 850 East Gude Drive unit C in Rockville Maryland 20850, as a design tool. The showroom is a guide for both kitchen designer and our clients to go above and beyond selecting kitchen cabinets, countertops and appliances, cabinet lighting, and flooring. Each display is a comparative tool, through which, client and designer interactively develop the design, remodel and budget.

We believe that good kitchen design is a collaborative process of discovery and education. We have organized our new 4,000 sq ft kitchen design studio at 850C Gude Drive in Rockville Maryland as a kitchen design or kitchen redesign tool, a guide for both our kitchen designers and our clientele to go above and beyond selecting kitchen cabinets, countertops and appliances, cabinet lighting, and kitchen flooring. Each display is a comparative tool, through which, client and kitchen designer interactively develop the kitchen design, kitchen remodel and kitchen budget.

We have four kitchen designs set up in this interactive way:

Jay Rambo Cabinetry:A custom cabinetry to luxury grade cabinet line from Texas. A Tex-Mex version of Clive Christian cabinetry. Fashionably British or understatedly fashionable, which is more you?
Dura Supreme Cabinetry:A custom cabinetry line to furniture grade cabinet line, with a European frameless line called Electra. Electra frameless cabinets allow us to provide you with an Italian Kitchen Design at a Minnesota Price!
Medallion Cabinetry:A Semi custom cabinet line to custom cabinetry. You will love this line I do. We can get quite price competitive, and yet still provide a very custom kitchen design solution.
JSI Cabinetry:The best imported stock cabinet line you will find. It is limited, it is stock, but the quality is there and the price cannot be beat.

I am looking for a one stop shop, or at least one stop street, for kitchen & bathroom design.

If you really want to tap into residential design expertise in one location, Gude Drive is the place to do it. At our location we are surrounded by and able to collaborate with some great specialized design firms. Our immediate neighbor at 851 Gude Drive is Architectural Ceramics with great selection and incredible ceramic tile designers, as a matter of fact, all of our kitchen back splash tile designs were done there. Just a few yards away is Ferguson plumbing showroom, our designers are there frequently. Four blocks from our door, at 425 Gude Drive are our lighting designer friends at the Rexal Electric's huge lighting showroom. All of our interior cabinet lighting, under cabinet lighting and showroom lighting was designed at Rexal. For technical advice on how one might repair an existing appliance you cannot beat the leading supplier of appliance repair and replacement parts. Tribbles, they are right next door. Did you know that the leading catalyst for a kitchen remodel is the failure of a major appliance most often the range?
